Anyone who works in the legal field. Our members include legal secretaries, legal assistants, paralegals, court reporters, court clerks, judicial assistants, records managers, word processors, law librarians, etc.

Many of the attorneys, firms, and corporations that employ our members recognize and appreciate the value of employees who take every opportunity to enhance their professional development. They demonstrate this by allowing time for professional development meetings, encouraging the enhancement of professional status through certification, and, in many cases, by underwriting NALS memberships and participation in educational events.
